Invite clients.

Click “Invite +” in the upper left-hand corner of the screen to invite clients to be monitored.

Each client must be a registered FoodKey user. The email address used to invite clients must be the email address the client has used to register on FoodKey.

You’re invited.

Each client will receive an invitation to be monitored in their FoodKey account under “Profile” > “Messages.”

While you wait for your client to accept their invitation, the FoodKey Dashboard will list them as “Pending.” Once they accept, they will be listed as “Active.”

FAQs

  • Yes, we recommend registering as a FoodKey user first. This is so you can see how easy it is to log food and track scores through our simple user interface.

    Tip: Invite yourself to be a client in the FoodKey Dashboard to practice reviewing real data.

  • No need to create additional credentials or remember a secondary password. The email address and password used to create your FoodKey account will be used for the FoodKey Dashboard.

  • No, each client will be listed as “Pending” in the FoodKey Dashboard until they accept the invitation sent to them via their FoodKey account.

    Once a client accepts the invitation they will be listed as “Active” and then you will be able to begin monitoring.

    Please note that each client's FoodKey data is updated every 24 hours. For this reason, you may not see data for an "Active" client for up to 24 hours.

  • Clients can choose to become “Inactive” at any time. Once they are listed as “Inactive,” their food data will not be seen by the Provider or Coach.

    Please note that this functionality is still in progress. Should a client wish to become "Inactive," they should share this with their Provider or Coach, who will notify a KaiVitae team member and have the access removed.

  • All data is HIPAA compliant from the KaiVitae back-end.
